Mounting instructions

Hand position base in desired location with a slight aft angle, mark centre clamp hole (A), drill and fit centre clamp, fit base to clamp to securely hold in place, reposition base into final desired location, make sure base is in its full up right position, mark and drill bottom bracket hole (B), securely bolt into position, mark and drill remaining bracket holes, repeat process for opposite side using centre clamp for position reference.

Note: it is recommended to use Ureseals in bolt holes to isolate s/s bolts from aluminium hulls, and a non acidic silicone between mounting brackets and hull.

For all fiberglass boats I would recommend to fit backing plates to inside of hull for extra load spread of mounting brackets.

Maintainance

Regular fresh water washing after use and a light coating of crc marine or similiar product is recomended.

A light coat of grease or vaseline applied to clamping thread every 6 months.
